About NoRemote
NoRemote turns an iPhone or Android phone into a Wi-Fi remote for Samsung, LG, Roku, Vizio, Fire TV and Google TV sets. The full remote is free for one TV. It is made by Vesoft Apps (SIA Vesoft), the publisher you see on the App Store and Google Play listings.
Why this site exists
Most people look for a TV remote app at a bad moment: the remote is lost, the batteries are dead, or it won't pair, and the TV is stuck on the wrong input. This site answers those moments first, with the fix that works in the next few minutes, and only then explains the longer-term fix, whether that is our app, a replacement remote or the buttons on the TV.
How we write the guides and tools
- Manufacturer sources first. Pairing steps, battery types and remote codes come from the TV or remote maker's own support pages and manuals, linked on the page.
- Honest about the app. We only describe features the current version of NoRemote has. If your TV is not supported (Apple TV, Samsung from before 2016, Hisense VIDAA, TVs without Wi-Fi), the page says so and gives the fix that does work.
- Not affiliated with TV brands. NoRemote is independent. Brand names are used only to say which TVs a guide or the app works with.
- Comparisons disclose ownership. When we compare NoRemote with another remote app, the page says NoRemote is ours, and any user complaint we quote is visible on that app's public store listing.
Who writes the articles
Articles are written by the NoRemote editorial team at Vesoft Apps. Bylines such as John, Stacey and Linda are pen names the team uses for its beats: TV brand guides, Roku / Fire TV / Google TV, and remote fixes. Every article follows the same sourcing rules above, whoever signs it.
